Shooting for Weekend Fun

Posted on Friday, February 10, 2012 | 3 Comments

This post was a long time in the making but I needed time in the daylight hours to take some outfit photos. A week later, I finally decide this post will have so many photos that there would be a photo overload. Thus, I bring you a photo-filled recap of the weekend past xD

On Friday night I went with my friend Ed to DVC shooting range for the first time. We had the misfortune of being next to a group shooting with huuuge guns which made enough noise to make me flinch every round they shot ><!

I look so cool :D

*pew pew pew!* I don't think I was too shabby for my first time, especially considering my lack of hand-eye coordination, ahaha.

There was an unfortunate moment during the night where the bullet casing popped out and down my front, even though I zipped up basically almost all the way to prevent it! Kyaaa it was scary 'cause the shell was still hot--in my panic trying to dislodge it, I forgot the protocols of putting down the gun first. Smooth move =___________="

Me n' Ed :)

We went to Flo in Richmond after for some noms :9

Hot almond milk tea with pearls <3

Taiwanese pork chop~

On Saturday night I went for Dine Out at Prestion's with the girls. Total YUM!

Lovely ladies :)

Appetizer: Chicken Karaage
The appy was so delish. The sauce it came in made it that much more scrumptious!

Entree: Wild BC Salmon
Fish is a 50-50 chance since some restaurants make it dry, but Preston's was awesome!

 Dessert: Banana Bread Pudding
The ice cream and strawberry was probably the best part. Maybe I was too full, but the banana bread was only eh~

Blurry picture courtesy of the waitress :(

I had such a busy weekend full of fun :) Plus now officially reading break! Yaaay~ I'm off to the Official World Music Fashion Festival Launch Party hosted by Empress Communications tonight with vonnie, Kerri, Shelia, and MizzJ (and probably a few others I may have missed). Can't wait! :)

Amicably yours,
♥ Emi

  1. You with a gun? You're getting ready for the zombies I see.

  3. @ Steve: Ahahaa, I did actually shoot at a zombie target... Let's just say that in the event of a zombie apocalypse, I won't survive very long if my only weapon is a gun.

@ Julie: Yeah, it's a tad pricey, but it's definitely cool to be able to go once in your lifetime to say you've done it :) Do they have a range in Ottawa?
